Its gapless fully encapsulated design eliminates common defects of traditional gap-type arresters, such as unstable arc extinction and dispersion of breakdown voltage. It boasts excellent pollution resistance and corona resistance, adapts to harsh outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures, ice coating and salt spray, and suffers minimal performance aging and degradation during long-term operation.
The varistor chips are designed with ample discharge capacity, capable of withstanding multiple lightning impulses and short-duration switching impulses. It also offers outstanding short-circuit current withstand performance, avoiding cracking, explosion and other failure risks under instantaneous high-current impact, perfectly adapting to complex operating conditions of high-voltage power grids.
Fitted with a composite silicone rubber housing, the arrester delivers excellent sealing, waterproof, moisture-proof, UV-resistant and anti-aging properties, maintaining stable insulation performance over decades of outdoor service.
